Hey Trader ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the rights you have. This Policy applies to https://heytrader.in and all related services.
We collect the following categories of information: (a) Account details you provide — full name, email address, phone number, country, and TradingView username; (b) Payment metadata received from Razorpay — transaction ID, amount, method, status; we do NOT store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or netbanking credentials; (c) Product usage data — pages visited, subscriptions purchased, signals delivered, dashboards viewed; (d) Communications you send to us via email, contact form, WhatsApp or Telegram support; (e) Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and cookie identifiers.
We use your information to: (i) create and manage your account; (ii) deliver the digital products you have purchased (including TradingView invite-only activation and Telegram signal delivery); (iii) process payments and refunds through Razorpay; (iv) send transactional emails (activation, renewal, receipts, password reset); (v) provide customer support; (vi) send optional product updates and marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time; (vii) detect and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorised access, and violation of our Terms; (viii) comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"), a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway licensed by the Reserve Bank of India. When you make a payment, your card, UPI or bank details are collected directly by Razorpay's secure infrastructure and are never seen or stored on our servers. We only receive limited transaction metadata (transaction ID, method, status, amount) required to activate your subscription and issue receipts. We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (e.g. light/dark theme). We also use minimal analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage and improve the Service. We do NOT use cookies for cross-site advertising. You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
We rely on the following trusted third-party services: Razorpay (payments), TradingView (indicator delivery — we share your TradingView username to grant invite-only access), Telegram (signal delivery — you link your Telegram account voluntarily), Resend (transactional email delivery), and cloud hosting providers. Each of these services processes limited data strictly for the purpose stated, and each is bound by its own privacy commitments.
We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data — encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing (bcrypt), access controls, audit logs, and least-privilege database access. No system is 100% secure; we do not warrant absolute security but will notify you and applicable authorities within 72 hours of any confirmed data breach that affects your personal information.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. On account closure, we retain limited billing and legal records for the period required by applicable Indian tax, accounting and regulatory laws (typically 7 years for financial records). All other personal data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to retention obligations; (d) withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; (e) request a portable copy of your data; (f) lodge a complaint with the Indian data-protection authority. The Service is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact support@heytrader.in and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email or a website notice.
